About PSTAMP

Hein Winkelaar founded PSTAMP in 2008, where PSTAMP became a part of Wonderware Benelux in May 2020.

As a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering he started in Research and Development. Hein became first

author of a worldwide patent (WO0138283 / EP1232137).

Five years later he combined his fundamental research skills and engineering experience as an Engineering and

Construction Project Manager. Hein became responsible for a plant to be build in the USA, where he translated

an innovative industrial process idea (his own patent) into industrial implementation. To this day , the

technology is still operational and used in several industries. During his international career (Spain, Thailand,

USA, Brazil), he became interested in streamlining operations. Advancing his expertise into Operations

Management

Hein was trained in LEAN/TPM by the founders of this methodology (No toolbox, a well-considered methodology that values

everyone, everywhere, every day).

One Japanese founding definition struck him the most: “To stimulate the daily awareness of all employees”. As an

Operations Manager, he used the methodology to improve productivity, increase morale and reestablish a healthy cost-

base. Winkelaar’s factory was granted “Best Plant Award” for several times.

Starting the PSTAMP company in 2008, his efforts resulted in a copyrighted hard-/software product and methodology, called

, small autonomous tasks can be scheduled, secured and reported using a barcode-system.

In 2009, a further product line was established with LockStamp, a Lock-Out-Tag-Out solution focusing on continuous

improvement in industrial Safety. The PSTAMP-systems are used by various companies in different countries.

Hein Winkelaar is a JIPM/JMAC-certified instructor and also a SHELL-certified LEAN-practitioner and coach. Several

industries are relying on Hein´s knowledge, skill and positive attitude for their LEAN/TPM-journeys. As an associate

lecturer (Utrecht University Applied Science) Winkelaar taught Operational Optimization and -Asset Management for 15

years. At exhibitions and congresses the is invited as a guest speaker to share his views on future developments,

improvements and opportunities within the western industry.

PSTAMP and Wonderware

First contact was established in 2005, when Eric van Nispen ( who just joined Wonderware benelux as

General Manager) and Hein Winkelaar (then Operations Manager of PURAC Netherlands) shared their

dreams about Operator Awareness.

All operational Wonderware products, many innovative projects and practical software solutions

showed Wonderware’s tenacious drive to make things easier, more practical and better.

In 2008 PSTAMP was founded, however we kept in touch and the dream stayed alive.

In May 2020 the shared believe, resulted in a strong cooperation.Wonderware believes in the unlimited

potential of technology, where PSTAMP added the human factor. Our mutual goal is to empower all

employees to improve Safety, Quality and Productivity.
